I will report that I feel SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE with my shotgun. Now I feel like I know how to handle, inspect, and operate it with healthy respect but not anxious fear, which was totally what I wanted out of our first meeting.

I came to Noah as a queer woman in my early 30s with minimal gun experience and no connection to any sort of gun-friendly community. I wasn’t afraid of handling a gun, per se, just unfamiliar and nervous about my lack of knowledge. Noah’s professional and warm demeanor set me at ease immediately. He did an excellent job of assessing what I was looking to learn so he could tailor his lesson to my needs, and repeatedly helped me to actively choose what level of involvement felt comfortable.

After the initial safety class I was interested in going to a shooting range and Noah thoughtfully found a range close to my home where we could meet. Before we started he reviewed general gun safety rules, specific handling instructions for the handgun we would be using, and safety/etiquette rules of the shooting range. While shooting he gave me useful feedback and let me go at my own pace. If you are afraid of guns, unfamiliar with them, or looking for a refresher course from a knowledgeable and encouraging person I would absolutely recommend Noah.

In  just under an hour, I felt much less upset at the sight of a gun. Noah was never pushy; he listened carefully, and answered all my questions in detail. I feel more confident about understanding gun safety, and in my ability to recognise whether a firearm is being handled in an appropriate manner. Highly recommended.”
